If you haven’t heard the news, Bart Crow’s new album Dandelion comes out THIS Tuesday. Bart came by to visit the 929 AM Coral studio yesterday morning to help celebrate my birthday….which just happened to be HIS birthday too! Bart sang two of his new songs from the album, “Cold Heart” and the latest single, “Little Bit of Luck”…as well as “Give Me Back My Ring”…by request, on the now infamous Shooter Acoustic Stage.
Long story short…we had just polished off an on-air bottle of celebratory Sangria that my Co-Host Terry Hunt brought me for my birthday and we all got a little sillier than usual in the studio. (I won’t even mention about the giggle fit that erupted after Bart said the word “anal”.) What you can’t see is how Bart had to turn his entire body around so he couldn’t see me playing the Rankin Shake Weight because every time he’d look over at me he’d start cracking up. As you can hear above, I don’t have a drop of rhythm in my entire white girl body but that has never stopped me before. We had a blast and I hope that comes across over the radio!
