Wade Bowen checked in with Daddy Frazell and the Texas Red Dirt Roads to let everyone know what he’s been up to. If you don’t have a spare 2 minutes and one second to spare, here are the cliff’s notes:
-Wade has had a very busy year.
-Wade signed with Sony.
-Wade’s next record will be his first major label release and his first opportunity to take his music to the rest of the world.
-Wade released his first single from that album “Saturday Night” in November and it has become a top forty single…his first. (That’s on a real chart, fyi.)
-It only took him 14 years to get a top 40 single.
-There is an acoustic Saturday Night song/video available on WadeBowen.com (I couldn’t find it.)
-The new album is called “The Giving” and it will be out in May.
-Don’t forget about the Bowen Classic fundraiser this year on May 6-7th.
-The Hold my Beer and Watch this acoustic tour with Randy Rogers is coming soon.
