Well, I reckon it is true! I have been hearing some noise about a Great Divide Reunion and apparently it is going to happen…with Mike!

The following is an article written by TXRDR Road Crew Member, Abby Gibson.

For many of us Oklahomans, The Great Divide is the band that started it all.

With Mike McClure, Scotte Lester, JJ Lester, and Kelly Green, The Great Divide was one of the first bands to start spreading the “red dirt.”

With albums “Break in The Storm” and “Revolutions” they quickly became a fan favorite in the scene.  In 2003, Mike McClure left The Great Divide to start his own projects and has been very successful since.

After McClure left the band Micah Aills stepped in.  The Great Divide would release the album “Under Your Own Sun” before calling it quits in 2007.

If you never got a chance to see those guys live in concert then you really missed out.  The good news is that The Great Divide is reuniting to perform at College Days in Stillwater, OK this August!

If you have never been to College Days in Stillwater, then this is the year you should check it out.

It is a 3-day outdoor festival with all the music you can handle.  Be looking for dates and tickets prices at www.calffry.com.

This year’s College Days will definitely be one to remember.

Very exciting!

It’ll be sad to see so many of the younger concert goers asking who the fuck the Great Divide is and why are they all up in the good time slot stealing their fist pumping dancing time.

Technology is a wonderful tool but if you do not understand the basics, you cannot tell if the output is correct. Todays technology does in seconds what it took hours or days to calculate. But you had to know the basics to arrive at a correct answer. Today, computers spit out reams of information but it may not necessarily be correct. And the majority of people today take that output as totally correct.Because they dont bother to learn the basics. Take a look at how the government reports on everything today. Prime example in not knowing the basics. If gasoline, food, healthcare, housing, taxes, etc. have all gone up this year, how do we then have 0 inflation? The computer says so. Thank god I dont need technology to know when I got to crap.
