Charlie does his own version of “The Grand Ole Opry Song” to announce his official artist debut on the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday August 25, 2012. While he made his first appearance on the Opry stage at age 12, this will be the first time he’s officially on the bill as a solo artist.
Awwwww…how exciting! Super happy face for my little banjo boy!
Oh and note to self…and others: Don’t get day drunk on champange with your friends and drunk dial Chuckie GaGa in the middle of the day, it scares him. I mean, not that I did or errr…ever did that. That is just embarrassing. Who would do that?
I have never been to the Grand Ole Opry, I might have to change that!
I couldn’t post this announcement without posting my favorite Charlie video, just in case you missed it.
I graduated from college in 1997…this was from 1998. I am so old.
If Charlie doesn’t wear the shiny blue jacket on the Opry, I will be disappointed. That really needs to happen.
