New video time!
This week we get a look at Kyle Park’s new video for “Make or Break Me” from his album of the same name. Here we go:
There isn’t really anything crazy or out of the ordinary with this one. Things are pretty straight forward. Here is the basic story line:
Boy gets out of a giant old timey toaster on wheels…
Boy and girl skip down the street because they are smitten with each other…
A band plugs into a tree in some extra green botanical garden and rocks out…
Boy gives girl a flower…
Boy and girl break up which causes a guitar solo…and a 5 second crotch shot…
Boy gets back into old timey toaster on wheels and drives away…
Girl reminisces about their time together as she walks down a rail road track…
Girl ocularly fornicates with boy while dancing on Panty Row…ala Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark”
Boy and Girl live happily ever after…
The End
Like I said, there isn’t a whole lot for me to work with here. It is obvious that the majority of the shots were done from below to make Kyle look taller which is kinda silly since we all know he’s a Little Bit. I think the girl is gorgeous and they made a great very convincing  on-screen couple. I wasn’t crazy about the color of the video because and it reminded me those Turner Classic Movies they turned from black and white into color.
I have been to a large number of Kyle Park shows in my life and I don’t remember ever seeing a fog machine and a little bit of me was really hoping Kyle would pull homegirl up on stag and start dancing just to pay homage to Courtney Cox and Bruce Springsteen.
That would have been way cooler.
