There’s an App for That!

This blog entry is random, but I thought…interesting.

Since I had to get a new iPhone and I am trying to get all my applications re-downloaded, I got to thinking about “Apps”.  I LOVE my 95.9 Ranch Radio App and they even just went through an update that makes it work much better…but the best thing is IT IS FREE.

Just looking around on iTunes, I discovered that some of “our” bands even have their own Apps, including RRB, The Departed, Eli Young Band, and Jack Ingram. 

I wasn’t exactly sure why you would need a band App, but when I investigated a little…they do seem kinda cool I guess. They “keep you up to date with the latest news, videos and tour dates”. Besides, how would I have ever seen this sexy ass picture of Kate Gosslin if I hadn’t clicked on the description? 

Wait, my bad…that is Jack Ingram. 

Even the Casey Donahew Band has an App…but for some reason if you want to download it onto your iphone to keep up with all the CDB news, its gonna cost you 99 cents.

Imagine that.

Well if Willie Nelson, George Strait, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, and even Rascal Flatts has FREE Apps…I don’t really know why you’d want to pay for one, but whatev.
