Just saying he looks a little “Nashville”….do you think I possibly care what a guy who wears tighter pants than I do, and wears more hair product in his hair than I do in an entire year, thinks of me? Maybe they will take over for the Rascal Fatts bus when they hit #1 next week. That is an upgrade
i don’t know if it was the sound mix, the wardrobe, the ‘do, the Rascal Fatts douchebeard, if Mike was nervous, or what, but I was underwhelmed with the performance.
Maybe I just had high expectations, but the vocals were weak. It made me sad. I really wanted them to knock it out of the park.
I completely agree with Betty, but then again Mike’s live vocals never quite live up to the album version. They are all so nice though, so I’ll pay to see ‘em every time.
Haters always gonna hate. It’s a never-ending cycle. You get to work and they will get to the B-A-N-K.
I agree that Mike’s vocals were the tiniest bit flat and the harmonies were lacking…but I hear that Letterman keeps the soundstage frigid and sure they were nervous! Rock on EYB!!!!
I watched the show just for their appearance…after watching the video I think the eng had the sound outta wack. James & Jon’s lips are moving you just can’t hear them…
I like the EYB, but the vocals were not great. Better luck next time!
