There doesn’t look like many more updates on the Scrandal have been released. (Randy scandal…see what I did there?) Well, other than we now know that the University of Texas ballcap DID NOT belong to Randy. Dun, dun, dunnnn. It belonged to his lawyer.
The weird 911 call that came in after the accident was leaked and the fella that found him sounded SO freaked out. I don’t blame him.

There have been lots of arguements on the internets about whether or not we should feel sorry for Randy or if we should all feel like assholes for making naked lush jokes.
I think a joke is a joke and there isn’t anything better than a good naked arrest joke, but I don’t give a crap if the guy has had 48390 #1 hits…he shouldn’t be driving around drunk and I don’t particularly feel any more sorry for him than I do any other drunk driver. It is all fun and games until he kills YOUR family.
Randy can take his ass the rehab immediately or drink himself to death at home. It is his own life….BUT HE NEEDS TO HIRE A DRIVER BEFORE HE TAKES SOMEONE ELSES.

Good post. I think the fact he calls himself a Christian Country Artist is a joke. The man needs help and he’s lived a life of crime. He was a juvenile deliquent and had plenty of run-ins with the law over the years. He got somewhat straightened out when he married his manager. When they split up, his life went downhill again.
It’s funny that people get “offense” when others make light of a serious situation…..yet they don’t mind making fun of Lindsey Lohan, Jersey Shore, or the drunk next to you at a concert. Yes, I was one of those that did “Randy Travis Arrest Songs” playlist too.
Shame on the fans who paid his bail. Did that really teach him a lesson? No he’s an adult and should have to pay his own bail.
I lost all respect for Randy, especially after this incident. He obviously doesn’t care if he harms himself or others. I don’t want my hard earn dollars spent on concert tickets/music to be spent on alcohol to fuel his troubles.
The best thing out of this situation is that no one was killed nor were others harmed. However, there may not be a next time. I’ve been in a wreck where a drunk hit us when I was younger. Thankfully we all survived, but still have to live with the injuries due to poor decisions by someone else.
In the words of Tracy Byrd….if you drink don’t drive do the watermelon crawl.
