Moonshine, Ford, Independence…Fun For The Whole Family

From CMIL.com:

Colt Ford is hitting the road with his pals Rehab, The Lacs, JB and The Moonshine Band and Lenny Cooper this spring for the first ever “Declaration of Independence Tour.” The 2012 tour will kick off April 6th in Albany, GA and will make it’s way through 21 cities with more dates to come.

In addition to the high energy Colt Ford live show, family friendly zones will be created at each of the venues. “I have the most die-hard, rockin’ country music fans and they come in ALL ages,” explains Colt. “When I look out in the crowds I see people anywhere from six to sixty years old. I really wanted to set up an all ages tour and create ‘family friendly’ zones to play for everyone that enjoys my music. This ‘Declaration of Independence’ tour will offer just that… fun for the whole family and then some!”

Honestly, there is probably not a tour out there that I personally would want to watch LESS than this one and I am thinking a rusty icepick to the cochlea sounds like it would be more enjoyable. I have no clue who or what Lenny Cooper, Rehab, or The Lacs are…but I do know of JB and the Moonshine Band, so I say good for them. Get in where you fit it, just be good at it and don’t try to sell it as something that it isn’t. Congrats to them.

I have to say I LOVE the idea of a “family friendly” zone. At least all the toddlers won’t have to get stomped on while their parents are drinking beer and rapping along to the “Dirt Road Anthem”.
