Things I learned last week:
1. Prophets and Outlaws is not a band full of old black dudes.
2. A Melodica is a keyboard that you blow into.

3. The lead singer Matt Boggs was once upon a time on a little CMT program by the name of Can You Duet?
I remember watching the show, but I don’t remember too much about it. I think he was on the season that Steel Magnolia came from…don’t quote me on that.
Thanks to the magic of Google, I did find Matt and this chick with WAY too many vowels in her name’s audition video:
Anywhoo…the guys paid us a visit before their gig this past Saturday in Gruene and we all kinda fell in love with their special brand of Texas Soul.
