I love Cake Bowen. I LOVE LOVE LOVE him. Did I mention I love Cake Bowen, because I do!
Cake Bowen aka @notjakeowen is what Twitter is about…anonymously shit talking famous people. If you don’t follow him, you really should because he isn’t just funny, he is brutal. I love him because he is mean to everyone, not just the ones that make it easy. He is already my hero, but this story makes me worship him.
In Hootie’s song “Alright,” he name drops with the lyric “I’ve got a stereo and the best of Patsy Cline.” Well, Cake called him out and tweeted:

Well, I don’t know if Hootie ran on out to Best Buy and picked one up…but he sure enough had the CD and tweeted back a picture of it and told him to send the reward to St. Jude’s Hospital.

If I was Cake I would have tucked my tail and ran away or pretended I didn’t see it, but he manned up and tweeted:

Bam!
Too good.
Keep up the “hate” Cake, you rock!

He has Radney Foster too!
@ previous post- he is no stranger to Radney, he sang back-up on Angel Flight.
Really? I didn’t know that. Cool.
that’s pretty cool on both parts. Props to Hootie for some decent tunes in that collection and the Cake Bowen guy for manning up. Well played gentlemen.
