Do y’all want to hear seven minutes of that infamous Opelikaish accent? Well…here you go!
I am not familiar with All Access Texas, but I think I should be. I really enjoyed this interview with Adam. Here are a few things we learn from the interview:
Adam has an earring. (I never noticed that before.)
Adam has a new album out, “The Shape of Things” that came out in October.
You an get all the tour dates and album information on AdamHood.com.
There are no leads about Adam’s custom stolen guitar but he doesn’t want your pity because everyone’s shit gets stolen.
The first time Adam ever heard one of his songs on the radio he was at his work, surveying land at a power plant aloooooong time ago.
The worst gig Adam every played was at “The Hideaway” in South Carolina…but that is a long story about raw biscuits and being paid in one dollar bills.
The worst motel Adam has every stayed in on the road was the Knight’s Inn in Memphis, Tennessee. He was propositioned by a male hooker.
The best night Adam has ever had that he doesn’t remember was most likely the last one he doesn’t remember.
Adam’s secret’s include that he has a man crush on Katy Perry. (Um, that isn’t a MAN CRUSH that is just a crush Adam. She’s a girl.)
Adam gets pissed when he has to sleep in his jeans, when he doesn’t have enough pillows, and when he is in traffic.
Dooodle La Dooodle La Doodle La Doo is Adam’s current ringtone but he is a moron when it comes to cell phones.

his accent is so hot! especially when he says “her pink hair is pretty” :) love this guy! (think his first album was much better!)
All Access Texas is just another start up of nerd gherms with a camera trying to jump into a game with hard ons from sucking up to musicians to be put on a guest list.
@Anonymous As half owner of All Access Texas I would first like to thank Rita for posting and having kind words. And for Anonymous, thanks for being our first hater because it lets us know were doing something right. As far as your comment, you are way off base and don’t know jack about us or what we do. Together we have 30 plus years in the business doing everything from Tour Management, merch, promotions, booking, and yes filming. We do what we do for love of the music and nothing else, and if you know anything about our Texas/Red Dirt community you know its not hard for anyone to get close to the stars of the scene, this is what makes our scene so special. So instead of trying to tare down people that support local music you should take in a show or buy a cd from other people that support Texas artist. But thanks for takin notice.
Just a suggestion Lump…
I watched your interview with Cody Canada yesterday, just stumbled across it on YouTube. I thought in that interview and I thought it here too that “What were you doing when you first heard your song on the radio” is not a question that you should “pretty much guarantee you’ve never been asked before” because everyone has been asked that one. Many times.
Thank you for the suggestion. I don’t come up with the questions and know where your coming from. It’s not the the normal question we usually ask but it does envoke a better response then what is your inspiration? Thanks for watching and please share with your friends.
I am totally going to steal some of those questions if I ever get to interview people and pretend I wrote them. Yup…I am! :)
I think y’all should interview me.
And I think that would be cool….
@Renae
You’re right…Think it’s time to AXE that question….we also take suggestions. What we do is for the fans, and we invite anyone to submit question suggestions to us on our FB page…Thanks!
