I have so much to say about all of this year’s “country” Grammy nominations, imagine that…but I had to post about Reckless Kelly being nominated for the “Best Recording Package” this year!
I am not going to lie…I wasn’t exactly sure what a “Recording Package” was, but shitfire a Grammy is a Grammy! Well, if you ask Wikipedia, they say: Best Recording Package is one of a series of Grammy Awards presented for the visual look of an album. It is presented to the art director of the winning album, not to the performer(s), except if the performer is also the art director.
I think that is just a fancy way of saying the “album art” and sure enough, “Good Luck & True Love” made the list.
Good Luck & True Love has been nominated for a grammy for Best Recording Package!!! A HUGE thank you and congratulations to Sarah and Shauna Dodds at Backstage Design Studio for all their hard work!!! We could not be more excited!

Well I might be massively biased, but if you haven’t played with the Reckless Kelly CD cover…you should.  It is hard to describe but lets just say there is magic eight ball, a fortune-teller and a silent movie.  It is very, very cool.
