JB and the Moonshine Band has a brand spankin’ new video for their next single “No Better Than This” and it debuted on CMT.com late yesterday. I can hear the voice of Momma Ballou correcting that double negative in my head even as I typed it.

The lovebirds in this video are CMT’s Sweet Home Alabama’s Paige and Jeremiah…which is a genius move. That show was hella popular and America really rooted for these two so there is already a built-in fan base of people/kids that will vote for them in the Countdown.
Reality stars in videos seems to be all the rage lately. Pudding’s “Taste” video starred Melissa Rycroft who has been in about 6 reality shows and word on the street is Brooke Jeter and Ali Dee from CMT’s Texas Women have already taped segments for the Band We Don’t Speak Of’s up coming video.
I only caught one name drop in the song and the video was cute and straightforward…fish, beer, bacon. A little part of me was hoping the “Perfect Girl” with the scary ass mole would show up, but alas…she didn’t. These guys have a history of “funny” videos, ie: Perfect Girl” and “I’m Down”, but this one wasn’t as quirky.
