The Merch Dude…whoever he is…was tweeting some ideas about how you know if you are a FAN or a CREEP this weekend. I thought they were too funny…(scary? true? too close to home?)…for me not to repost. While most of these are about the female fans, I bet a list could also be made for those “Man Fans” as well.
1) FANS know the names of every band member.
CREEPS tattoo their member with every bands name!
2) FANS: Respect a band members wife.
CREEPS: EXPECT to be a band members wife.
3) FANS: May drive 5 hours to see a show.
CREEPS: Shows up at a bands driveway for 5 hours.
4) Fans: Take pictures with every band member using her phone
CREEP: Sends her picture to every band member using her phone.
5) FANS: Go online to share the love of music.
CREEPS: Go online to tell others that don’t like certain music to DIE!
6) FANS: Wishes to be backstage
CREEP: Bitches to be backstage
7) FANS: Blows kisses to the band on stage
CREEPS: Blows everyone in the band backstage.
8) FAN: Gets nicely dressed and likes small intimate show!
CREEP: Takes off her dress and is arrested at the show.
9) FANS: A poster of a band is on the walls of their house.
CREEPS: Is Posting a picture of a band from inside the bands house!
10) FANS: Loves to see the band up close within feet
CREEP: Legally can’t be within 100 feet.
11) FANS: They secretly think of the band when they go to sleep.
CREEP: They secretly watch the band while they sleep.
12) FANS: Uses an iPad to watch the band videos at home
CREEPS: Brings from home an iPad to video the band at a show.
13) FANS: Goes crazy when the band begins to play.
CREEPS: The band knows she/he is legally insane!
14) FANS: Shows up early to see the opening band.
CREEPS: Shows up early opening her legs to the bands.
15) FANS: Are the best yelling the bands name from outside the bus.
CREEP: Bust out their breast to get inside the bands bus.
If you laugh you’re a fan. If you get offended then you need to laugh more often because I’m sure that one of your friends has done some creepy shit. This was meant to make you laugh for a few second and get your attention. Number 5 is meant to be taken very seriously. This mentality needs to stop because It is as useless as the people that use it. This is my opinion and only an opinion.
