This was a fun little internet trolling observation. It seems that some Eric Church fans are highly offended by his new merchandise.

I have tickets to eric’s concert in Oct but now I am rethinking about attending. really Eric do you need to stoop this low to cater to fans – this shirt definitely sends the wrong message. i don’t think i will be renewing my membership to the church choir – not saying you have to be squeaky clean – but I thought you had class?!

Seriously, there are over 800 comments on this one “fucking” shirt. It’s great entertainment if you have some time to kill. Either pro or against the “fucking” shirt, the controversy worked. The shirt is currently SOLD OUT.

I would wear if it said “Fucking, Eric Church” with Sucks on the Back.
It’s not a shirt I’d personally wear, but it has no effect on how much of a fan I am of his. If people are that turned off by one shirt then their loss. To expand on what the one person said, I’ll gladly do with one less fair weather new fan keeping a long time fan like me from front row.

I went to his concert last night and saw so many people wearing this shirt.. I personally like it, I think it adds to his “hard ass” persona and obviously people like it cause they’re buying it, which benefits him.
