We have never been a big Valentine’s Day couple. I think it is stupid. Oh, don’t get me wrong…if Ike wasn’t to bring me home something, he’d get in some serious trouble. He is much more romantic than I could ever come close to being and is a great gift giver, but he hasn’t always been. I have trained him well. No man can ever go wrong with little blue boxes, I’m just saying…but remind me sometime to tell you the story about how he gave me a cable cord and took me to Subway for Valentine’s Day lunch once. And yes…he used his Subway stamps. He has come a long, long way.

It looks like you just have to post your “Worst Valentines Day Ever Story” to their page between now and Feb 12th and on the 12th they will pick their 3 favorite stories and each winner will receive a box of chocolates and a dozen roses from Reckless Kelly.

Reckless Kelly is one of my favorite bands but every time I listen to this song I think to myself I’d rather hear Todd Snider sing it. May have something to do with that whole Todd Snider walks on water, thinking that I have.
