I try to post the “Most Country” of Country songs every week. Those dumb songs multiply on YouTube like rabbits so it is almost impossible to keep up with them all. Well, this week’s “Country” song is more of an “anti-Country Song-song”, but with a twist.
As far as the “Country” song rule book, Chris Cavanaugh does seem to follow all of the rules…he sings about loving his bible, being born in the USA and even name drops the big three, but again, in this song he does it differently. Just listen for yourself:
I like that he’s at least honest and doesn’t pretend that his imaginary tractor is sexy.

I disagree. I think with a different sound this song could be an anthem for the “country” song haters because like Rita said, at least he’s honest and makes some good points.
