The Clay Wilson Band released his new video for his song “Not Ok” and it is much different from the Plushies we saw in his last video.
Truthfully, because I just took my Lunesta I can’t really put my finger on the plot. I think Clay was in love with the chick, but she had been cheating and the only way for them to be happy is to end it. The sex and the fighing appear to be flashbacks. I am just not sure about the end. Is is a murder/suicide? Or are they just kinky and into that role play shit?
Either way, the sex scene was damned hot.
Anyone else have a interpretation?

Isn’t that opening sequence shot at the Basement in the Fort Worth Stockyards? Ali Dee tried to host her “EP Release Party” *wink wink nudge nudge* there on Texas Women.
I really like the song but the video is confusing. It ends with the staging of the black and white album cover for Desperate. So from his point of view, he’s not ok; he is definitely desperate and his situation is hopeless.
From her point of view, the flashbacks seemed to be summarizing the destruction of their relationship. They started out good, it falls apart, they fight. So who was in the bathroom stall? Did she catch him cheating on her, confront him, then take the ultimate revenge? This may be a good warning for douchebags everywhere.
Maybe I’m over analyzing it. You’re right, the sex scene was damned hot. Excuse me, I’m going to go back and watch it again now. For research purposes. Yeah, that’s it. Research. ;)
They definitely are setting themselves aside from the normal pack of stray dogs in the scene and it’s a smart move. TX Music/Red Dirt is embarassing and these guys understand that.
I agree with Cali, I think it’s a lot of flashbacks to their relationship. I’m not sure about the end, but I like it. Probably not as much as my boyfriend who can’t seem to stop watching it, maybe he’s on the same research team as Cali ^. I think all in all they did a great job, the couple is totally hot together, I assume they’re dating since the sex scenes were more natural than what you see in the movies lol. I believe that is a bar in the stockyards I can tell the street scenes were shot there. I really didn’t like the song that much until I saw the video, now I can’t stop watching it lol. My boyfriend just said he is waiting for their next video after seeing that one lol. The other musicians out there have some competition with this video, step it up a notch and be daring, seemed to work well for this band.

I shit you not that I watched the video with the volume off. Not that I knew whether the song sucked or not…I just never cut on the volume. Never heard of this band. I do however think that this borderline porn might be just the infusion of character that the Texas music scene needs. Maybe Southern Thread will come out with a new line: Cunt Wear. Wow! There are a TON of movies out there that show boobs and none of them are labeled as soft core porn, this isn’t even close, daytime soaps show this much it just doesn’t look this hot. First of all to those of you who think I’m a woman scorned by clay or that I’d even dream of sleeping with him WRONG. First of all if I were jealous would I say I’d go see him if he had a girlfriend? The only thing I said was he’s down on women to the point of it being ridiculous and that he needs to grow up. How that makes me jealous I’ve no clue.
