Ahhhhh….Chilifest.
Chilifest is one of those events if you haven’t been to, you have to go. Even if it is the mecca for young, buff shirtless college boys I have no reason/desire to ever go back again because I almost died last year, but that was my fault. I got so sunburned on my shoulders that it bubbled up into pus filled lumps. It was so disgusting and when it finally peeled away it left these big ass freckles. My shoulder modeling career has been ruined forever.
Other than my personal sun poisoning, the debauchery is just something you HAVE to experience once in your life. It scared the shit out of me. Now, with that said…I have never been to a more responsible event concerning the transportation. We just parked at the Hall of Fame in Bryan and took one of the several buses out to Snook and when we took the bus back, and then there were TONS of student organization that were even willing to drive you to your house…and they had pizza! There is no reason to drink and drive at all, so drink it up but I suggest sunscreen and WATER.

Billy Currington? That seems like an odd choice for that line up. Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan have headlined in the past, but that kind of made more sense. I just can’t imagine those Man Fans after 2 days of hardcore boozing fist pumping “I Want You To Love Me Like My Dog Does Baby”.
Wait, I take it back…maybe I can. They are Aggies after all.

I remember it well Rita! Bart Crow was the best of the day of course. Glad to see Sunny is holding it down for the ladies.
