Let us all now get into our DeLoreans and kick that sucker up to 88 mph and pretend I posted this yesterday and not today. I’m always a day late and a dollar short.
For the record, Josh was on time…I was late.
SHORT BUT SWEET
It’s studio eve in my world tonight. We go into to start work on a six song EP tomorrow morning. We’ve settled on eight to cut (this morning) and I think we’re gonna a have a pretty awesome project. I am a huge fan of all but one of the songs, and that one is growing on me. I’ll shoot some video and hopefully be able to do a video blog next week on the studio experience. Fifteen months after moving to Nashville I have a publishing deal and am headed into the studio to cut sides for Tim Dubois. It doesn’t even seem real sometimes. It will tomorrow!
On a non musical note, I can’t wait for football season. Seeing Cutler and Brandon Marshall hooking up was awesome last weekend against Washington, who coincidentally, I’ll be keeping a close eye on as RG3 makes is NFL debut. Baylor has a big hole to fill without him, but I’m hopeful for a great season there too.
Short blog, but that’s all I got this week. Can’t wait to share new jams soon.
